Charles Green, sometimes known as Angry Grandpa or AGP, was the topic of the YouTube channel, TheAngryGrandpaShow. He was the main antagonist of the channel. Unfortunately, Green died in December 2017 at 67 years old.

Charles Green was first married at 20

Charles was first married to his girlfriend at 20. However, the name of his first wife has never come out to the public knowledge, perhaps AGP might’ve wanted the past to be past. Reports say, the late YouTuber only married her she got pregnant accidentally.

AGP was a neglectful father to his first-ever daughter

He had a daughter named Dawn Michelle with his first wife. Charles admitted that he was a neglectful father which might have led to his divorce from his then-spouse.

Michelle now lives a secluded life in Alabama with a family of her own and is not associated at all with the Green Family. She was also not mentioned in the death notice issued by the family.

Charles Green Was Married To Tina Sharp

Known to the media as Angry Grandpa, Charles had been in three marriages all his life. His 2nd marriage was with a woman named Tina Sharp. The two got married in 1982. She gave birth to her first kid later that year.

Between the marriage of the two, they shared four children. Around this time, their family was experiencing financial difficulties, with Tina and Angry Grandpa working multiple jobs to maintain their family.

He worked as a volunteer firefighter and did odd things like cleaning an apartment building and selling peanuts. Additionally, he made multiple futile attempts to launch side ventures in industries like pornography and clown-o-grams.

The divorce between the two was all sorts of messy 

It isn’t evident when they both had their divorce but something evident was how messy it was. Tina destroyed or damaged several items at the trailer throughout the divorce process, including tearing up the birth certificates and social security cards of her Grandchildren and destroying portraits of Grandpa’s mother.

Tina moved into her new home once the divorce was finalized, and she moved away from the videos, as desired. Despite their ongoing feud, she would occasionally be spotted visiting Michael and Grandpa. She and Grandpa were able to make up after addressing different negative occurrences stemming from the divorce.

Tina Maria Sharp was born in South Carolina on January 4, 1964, to Robert E. Sharp and Betty J. Sharp. Tina now lives in Charlestown with her family which consists of her children, their partner, and her grandchildren.

Charles had 4 children with Tina

Charles and Tina had 2 girls and 2 boys together. Their oldest is Charles Green who was born on December 2, 1982, and following him is Jennifer Green who was born on November 6, 1983. Their second youngest child is Kimberly Pratt who was born on  July 6, 1985, and the youngest is Michael Green who was born on  June 2, 1987.

All of their children participated in pranking Angry Grandpa and making content for their YouTube channel. Four of their children have had a rough childhood and are mainly on no speaking terms with each other.

All of his children have had some issues with each other and their parents. However, you can see Michael posting videos with his sisters frequently. The three of them might be somewhat close but none of them speak with their oldest brother.

Their oldest son, Charles Green III was disowned by his family after he abused his youngest brother’s girlfriend and brought damage to his property. After the incident, it is said that he was under the influence of LSD. Green III under the influence had done several nasty things that cost him his relationship with his whole family.

Due to this incident, his brother Michael even stated, “If I die of a heart attack I don’t want you at my funeral – I mean that wholeheartedly.” The oldest son now has changed his ways after many setbacks and is sober. He now has a full-time job and is enjoying his life with his wife Erica Roland.

Lauren Davi was Angry Grandpa’s fiancée until his death on December 10, 2017. Sadly, Lauren and Grandpa’s first relationship did not work out.

But, Green’s son Michael later arranged a reunion between the two by calling Lauren and convincing her to fly out. He brought Grandpa to the county fair, where they “coincidentally” met Lauren. Soon, they resumed their romance. Charles proposed to Lauren on November 3, 2017. Unfortunately, he died about a month later.

Charles Marvin Green Jr. was born in Chatham County, Georgia, on October 16, 1950. His mother was Dorothy Mae Green, and his father was Charles Marvin Green Sr., a Sergeant in the United States Army during WWII. He grew up in the Sherwood Forest area with his older sister Charlene.

His father was in a catastrophic vehicle accident while he was a child and was paralyzed from the neck down as a result of the tragedy. Later, the family was financially strained. Green was tormented at school because of his weight and poverty, so he frequently feigned to be unwell to stay home from school. Several times, he discussed going to one year of college.

As a result, his mother, Dorothy, struggled to support the family. However, his parents were stern; he claimed that he was once discovered smoking and had to smoke the entire package.

The Angry Grandpa had a hard time growing up 

Charles got separated from his family in the late 1960s and spent two years traveling throughout America as a hippy with a group of buddies. This includes going to the Woodstock Festival. During this period, he had no touch with his family.

He also dabbled in drugs as a youngster. On Halloween 1968, he smoked marijuana and took mescaline in a Jewish cemetery, resulting in a vivid vision of zombies emerging from numerous graves.

Death and Obituary of Charles Green 

Charles died at 4:17 p.m. on December 10, 2017, at home as a result of cirrhosis and pneumonia complications. He’d been in and out of the hospital since being diagnosed with cancer in February of this year. Charles was able to survive cancer, but he acquired pneumonia.

Long-term smoking was the primary cause of his pneumonia. He was diagnosed with cirrhosis while suffering from pneumonia, which caused the liver to scar and its cells to die. He was 67 at the time of his passing. Green was buried at Live Oak Memorial Gardens in Charleston, Charleston County.

Furthermore, his memorial service took place in Parks Funeral Home Chapel on December 14, 2017.

His son Michael filmed his outburst, “It’s about time these children knew the truth!” he yelled, launching into a rather incoherent tirade on the nonexistence of Father Christmas. “No f***ing Santa Claus exists!”. That is how everyone’s favorite ‘Angry Grandpa’ was born.

Over the next 10 years, Green became an online sensation, amassing over 3.5 million subscribers to his YouTube channel by the time of his death. In one of the most popular videos, he smashed his kitchen because he couldn’t locate vanilla to add to the pumpkin pie he was baking. Michael and the rest of the Green family would play practical jokes on him in an attempt to get him upset.

Green had an estimated fortune of $1.5 million at the time of his death. He had earned a major portion of his wealth from his YouTube career. Post-death, his fortune, and assets were passed on to his children.
